See Ron Germanson’s new Moon Over the Creek and Lucy‘s new shrines.

Look at the honeycombed appearance of this stone. Stone artist, Richard Erickson, just dropped off these amazing new pieces to the Abode Gallery.

Last year his granite candles were a huge hit.  He just left a couple of candles and several granite wine racks. See more of these gorgeous pieces in the video below.

These wine racks are made from honeycombed calcite, a rare stone that is only found in Utah.  The stone has a honeycombed appearance and distinctive character.  Richard maintains the natural form and polishes his pieces beautifully.

The candles that we had in last year were gone quickly.  I encourage you to stop by this weekend and see these wine racks in person. You’ll be glad you did. And please pass the word along to your friends.

Two of the featured pieces in the show are Woodland Road Light by Denise Presnell Wiedner and Cardinal, Female by Eric Cornett.

Sunrise, Sunset will be in the Gallery from April 15 through May 31.  Our opening reception is Saturday, April 27, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.  Stop by this weekend and see the show in person.  You’ll be glad you did.

New Zen wall vases just arrived…

We just received new Zen wall vases from Water’s Edge Studios.  Take a look at them.  The artist is Terry Andrews from Florida.  I met him at the American Craft Show in Orlando a few years back.

Terry uses glass and copper to create functioning vases.  He hand blows the glass to fuse it to the copper.  His pieces are warm and inviting with incredible colors.

Another new vase will be on the floor this weekend.  It’s much larger than any others that we have had.  Stop by this weekend and see these Zen wall vases in person.  You’ll be glad you did.

Be the first to see Marge Lindeman’s new pieces…

Marge Lindeman just stopped by with these beautiful new pieces that she has been working on this winter.  Be the first to take a look at them.

She loves to hand dye silk, cut, and stitch it for wall pieces.  She also creates gorgeous silk scarves, which she hand paints.  I have added a few of those for you to see here.

My favorite piece from Marge is her Essence of Stockholm.  Come down this weekend and see her work in person.  You’ll be glad you did.
